I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2002 with a grade of 108/110. I then specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the same University with a grade of 70/70.
During the last year of my specialization, I worked as an associate researcher and specialist registrar in the neuroimaging division at the famous London research center, IoP, Institute of Psychiatry, where, under the guidance of Prof. Mc Guire, I conducted high-level studies in neuroimaging using functional magnetic resonance imaging, collaborating on high-IF publications.
At the same time, I gained considerable experience in neuroradiological MRI at the Neuroimaging Center of King’s College under the guidance of Virginia LG.
After a few years in Italy as a Level 1 Medical Director, I returned to the United Kingdom where I worked as a Consultant Neuroradiologist in several university hospitals including Leicester University, North Staffordshire University, Glasgow University.

Registration Number: 38192

Registration Number: 7051985
Further experience, particularly on brain tumors and super-selective CT-guided spinal interventions, was gained in Austria at the Neuromed campus of Kepler Universität Linz.
For a long time, I then worked as a consultant for various English hospitals in teleradiology.
Apart from my high specialization in adult neuroradiology, I have acquired skills in emergency radiology and oncology during my previous training and employment in Italy.
I can therefore offer high professionalism in these 3 areas of radiology for which the second opinion service has been activated, for the benefit of patients but also of GP colleagues or specialists.
I firmly believe that every patient deserves the best possible diagnostic quality. For this reason, I offer an independent second opinion service, dedicating the necessary time for an accurate and detailed re-evaluation of your radiological images. My goal is to provide you with clarity and peace of mind, helping you make informed decisions about your care path through the support of an additional specialist opinion.
Sincerely,
Valter Stefano Fraccaro
